Erratic Daily Showers Into Early Next Week

Kansas City, March 30 (World Weather, Inc.) – Rainfall during the weekend was mostly confined to areas from Espirito Santo into eastern Bahia. Net drying occurred in many other areas and temperatures were close to normal. Weather conditions are unlikely to change much during the next week to ten days. Scattered showers will be possible in many coffee areas at one time or another; though, the daily coverage is not likely to be widespread. Some areas will experience a little drying and temperatures should be held to a seasonable range.BRAZIL
Rain fell at one time or another Friday through Sunday from portions of Zona da Mata through Espirito Santo to eastern Bahia. A few other showers occurred in northern Parana. Most of the rain was less than 13 millimeters in Zona da Mata and no more than 4 millimeters in northern Parana. Most other areas reported rainfall of 3 to 26 millimeters with one location along the lower Bahia coast getting 81 millimeters. The remaining coffee areas were dry; including Sul de Minas, northeastern Sao Paulo and Cerrado Mineiro.
Highest temperatures Friday through Sunday were in the middle and upper 20s to the lower 30s Celsius. Lowest temperatures Saturday into today were mostly in the middle and upper teens into the lower and a few middle 20s.
Scattered shower and thunderstorms are expected daily through the next full week to ten days. Most production areas will get rain at one time or another and daily amounts will be light to moderate. The most typical range of rainfall this week will vary from 2 to 16 millimeters with a few totals getting up to 28 millimeters.
Daily high temperatures will be in the middle and upper 20s through the lower 30s followed by lows mostly in the upper teens and lower to a few middle 20s.
